HELLO, I AM SAURUS. YOULL LEARN WHY ON HERE

This is Saurus.
My kids named all the Iguanas BUT his name is for a valid reason.
One night my vet office called asking if I would IGGY SIT while this lady went out of town. I agreed and they passed on my number. She openly told me that one of her iggys had fallen off a branch and broke his leg. I thought OK NO BIG DEAL. 2 YEARS AGO??? SHOULD BE FINE RIGHT? WRONG!!!!

Look at his left hind leg. Do you see the holes? That is where his leg, yes, broke 3 years ago, this is how it re-grew. NO it did not heal correct, it would come out of his leg upon movement. In and out of each hold and sadly, he grew to accept it and learned how to use it.

SEE THE HOLES? THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN IF IT WAS A CHILD.

HE IS DOING WELL NOW AND HAS A NEW CAGE. THE ONE YOU SAW IN THE ABOVE PICTURE WAS HIS OLD ONE. HE SHARED THAT WITH ANOTHER MALE IGGY AND LIVED OUTSIDE ONLY. SHE HAD THEM FOR 6 YEARS. NEEDLESS TO SAY, SHE NEVER GOT TO SEE THEM AGAIN.
