This is Mrs. Rex. She is the iggy I mentioned in the story of Mrs.T. She is the one who was in the same cage and was abused. Look at her tail. Wonder what severe MBD looks like? This is a good idea. Mrs. Rex suffers from MBD. When I got her, she was unable to move and was a terrible nightmare. She was unable to do for herself, she relied on myself and my kids to do it all. She could not eat unless it was put directly in front of her.

As you can see, she is not able to LAY down completely as her tail is curved due to "IG"NORANCE. She went through calcium shots and many other methods of treatment to help stop further damage and now is a loving iggy.

Although she is sometimes uncomfortable, she does well. I have considered amputating her tail so she can move around better but she seems to be doing OK so far. If the day comes where it interferes with her moving I then will do so. But all this could have been prevented with the right diet and lights. Don't be IG NORANT love your iggy the right way so it will not have to feel and look like this. Can you imagine a human looking like this because of wrong diet? ME EITHER!
